Yeshua was Jewish

The prophecies about genealogy of the promised Messiah came true in Yeshua:

- a descendant of the tribe of Judah

10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him [shall] the gathering of the people [be]. (Gen 49:10)

 

- a descendant of tsar David via the paternal line

11 And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go [to be] with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. (1Chr 17:11)

17 For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; (Jer 33:17)

Please read these lines from the Bible about that Yeshua was Jewish, Yeshua was brought up as Jew, observed Torah, went to synagogue on shabbat, celebrated other God’s holidays:

Luk 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

Luk 2:41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.

Luk 2:42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.

 

Matt 17:24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute [money] came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?

Matt 17:25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

Matt 17:26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

 

Luk 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

 

John 2:13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,

John  5:1 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

 

John 7:8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.

John 7:9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode [still] in Galilee.

John 7:10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

John 7:11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?

John 7:12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.

John 7:13 Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.

John 7:14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

 

John 7:37 In the last day, that great [day] of the feast (Sukkot), Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet [given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

 

John 10:22 And it was at Jerusalem Chanukah (the feast of the dedication), and it was winter.

John 10:23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.

 

Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Matt 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Matt 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

 

HOW MANY JEWS BELIEVED IN MESSIAH YESHUA (JESUS)?

Many believers know ok these lines: 21 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. (Luke 23:21)

How many Jews believed in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus)?

Pesakh

23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. (John 2:23)

Sukkot

31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Messiah (Christ) cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done? (John 7:31)

30 As he spake these words, many believed on him. (John 8:30)

Chanukah

 

41 And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
42 And many believed on him there. (John 10:41-42)

45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. (John 11:45)

Before Pesakh

11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus. (John 12:11)

42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: (John 12:42)

Shavuot (Pentecostal) and later

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. (Acts 2:41)

4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand. (Acts 4:4)

7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. (Acts 6:7)

20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many tens of thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: (Acts 21:20)
